qEEG Brain Mapping

We do not guess at protocols. We map electrical dysregulation against normative databases before any intervention begins.

Why we map before we treat

Psychiatry has historically relied on subjective symptom reporting (e.g., "I feel sad"). qEEG introduces an objective biological measurement. By recording the electrical activity at 19 sites on the scalp, we can identify precise regions of hyper- or hypo-arousal.

The Mapping Process

  1. Preparation: Application of a 19-sensor cap using conductive gel.
  2. Recording: 10 minutes eyes-closed, 10 minutes eyes-open resting state.
  3. Artifacting: Manual removal of eye blinks and muscle movement from the raw data.
  4. Analysis: Comparison of your clean data against a normative FDA-registered database (e.g., NeuroGuide) to generate Z-scores.
