Insurance Coverage for TMS
TMS is FDA-cleared and covered by Medicare and almost all commercial insurance for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). To qualify for coverage, you typically must meet these criteria:
- Diagnosis of severe MDD.
- Documented failure of 2 to 4 antidepressant medications from different classes.
- Documented trial of evidence-based psychotherapy.
- No contraindications (e.g., non-removable metal in the head, history of seizures).
The "Cash Pay" Reality
If you do not meet insurance criteria (e.g., you are seeking TMS for off-label anxiety, or haven't failed enough meds), you must pay out-of-pocket.
Financing & Payment Plans
If you are paying out of pocket, a $9,500 outlay is significant. We partner with specialized medical financing platforms to structure this into monthly payments.
CareCredit
We accept CareCredit, which often provides 6, 12, or 18-month 0% interest promotional periods if paid in full by the term end.
Advance Care
A credit card specifically for medical expenses. Typical approvals range from $1,000 to $25,000.
